✍️ This study tried to answer the question: Why are more Young Women not involved in decision-making roles and what can be done at the global/regional and national-level in the GG/GS movement to increase the number of Young Women in decision-making roles?
Overall, the research aimed to inform the development of a strategy to increase Young Women in decision-making roles at global, regional and national levels. More precisely, the study had the following objectives:
- To know the current status of Young Women in decision-making roles in the Movement at the global, regional and national levels.
- To understand why it is important to have Young Women in decision-making roles in the Movement.
- To understand the barriers and opportunities for Young Women in decision-making roles in the Movement.
- To identify best practices to engage Young Women in decision-making roles.
- To pass a motion at the 37th World Conference in 2020.
