We are delighted to invite girls and young women to join our online webinar: Explore, Inspire, Lead- Girls as changemakers in STEM.

Supported by leading health brand Johnson & Johnson (J&J), WAGGGS is hosting this webinar to raise awareness of opportunities in STEM (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).

We will challenge myths and barriers surrounding the participation of girls and women in STEM education and careers. Speakers currently working in STEM roles at J&J, will share about their work to inspire girls who may have an interest in pursuing STEM pathways themselves.

The webinar will include:

  • Fascinating insights from WAGGGS’ 2022 consultation on STEM in 2022

  • Inspiration talks for girls and young women on STEM

  • Demonstration of STEM activity

  • Sharing of videos from youth members of Girl Guides/Girl Scouts who took part in the STEM Consultations last year

There will be panel speakers including WiSTEM2D champions and expert speakers from J&J, along with Girl Guides and Girl Scouts past and present who are pursuing STEM fields.
