Host MOs has a good track record in hosting international events with over ten years of experiences, along with full-time dedicated operation team and is trusted by international and local partners. We have a strategic plan to avoid any risks that could happened before, during and after the conference which include several key steps to identify, assess, and mitigate those risks. This strategic plan will help ensure a safe, successful and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
Possible Natural disaster such as flood, earthquakes or hurricane – such mentioned possible natural disaster (earthquake, hurricane, wildfire) have never occurred in Cambodia.
The selected event venue, the proposed accommodations has never experienced flooding. In the unlikely event of a natural disaster, rest assured that our team will taking all necessary precautions.
New wave of covid-19 – Host MO will take proactive measures in response to any new wave of covid-19. We will inform WAGGGS committee promptly and organize a virtual conference to ensure the safety of all participants.
The change of weather and unfamiliar foods issue – Eco-friendly refilled water bottles/fountain will be available for attendees to make sure that you stay hydrated and cool to beat the hot weather of tropical country.
When traveling to new places, it is easy to get sick from unfamiliar foods. We, the host will prioritize good hygiene practices. Different catering options are available such as vegetarian and take in account of the participants’ allergies or intolerance etc.
Additionally our basic first aid stations are staffed by trained professionals who can quickly and effectively provide care for anything, from minor cuts and scrapes to more serious injuries. Should any of the attendees require a higher level of medical attention, there is an international hospital located just 10 to 15 minutes away from our venue.
