Attire Suggestions

Catherine Harris • 19 Août 2025

Here are a few friendly suggestions – please feel free to be yourself!

We’re so excited to welcome you to Limassol! The overall vibe is relaxed and casual, and we want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout. That said, we’ve put together a few helpful clothing tips based on the planned activities and the expected weather.

A Quick Note on Weather & Style

Limassol in October typically enjoys pleasant temperatures – expect highs around 25°C / 77°F and lows around 17°C / 63°F. Since some activities will be indoors and others outdoors (including evening events), we recommend dressing in layers to stay comfortable throughout the day.

There are no restrictions on colours – express yourself!

Some events will be photographed, so consider being a bit camera-ready.

Choose comfortable shoes, especially for events on cobbled or uneven ground.

Welcome Reception – Thursday, Oct. 16

Attire: Relaxed & Comfortable

Held by the pool, this is the perfect opportunity to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Think easygoing, yet put-together:

  • Sundress, skirt, trousers with a blouse or shirt
  • Dressy shorts are also welcome
  • Flat shoes or sandals recommended

Daytime Activities
Attire: Practical & Comfortable

  • You'll be out and about, so lightweight, breathable clothing and comfy shoes are key.
  • Bring a light wrap or jacket for chilly moments or air-conditioned spaces
  • For Saturday’s outdoor “Taste of Cyprus,” don’t forget a sun hat and outdoor-appropriate footwear

Inaugural Member Presentations & Dinner at the Presidential Palace – Friday, Oct. 17
Attire: Elegant / National Dress / Uniform

This is our most prestigious event, held outdoors in the Palace gardens. While the evening will likely be warm, a light jacket or wrap is recommended for the gentle night breeze.

  • Dressy evening wear is encouraged, and national dress or Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting uniforms are warmly welcomed.
  • Gentlemen: suits preferred (black tie not required).
  • Note: The pavement is similar to cobblestones – please choose appropriate footwear.

Celebration Dinner – Saturday, Oct. 18
Attire: Festive Attire for a Celebration

A festive evening calls for stylish attire! Suggested options:

  • Cocktail dresses, dressy separates, or a suit
  • Accessories to suit your own style and flair

Closing Dinner & Campfire – Sunday, Oct. 19
Attire: Smart & Comfortable

We’ll wrap up with a relaxed dinner followed by an optional beach campfire. Comfort is key!

  • Wear clothing and shoes you can walk on the sand in – or are happy to slip off
  • Light layers are still a good idea for the evening

No matter what you wear, the most important thing is that you feel like you. We can’t wait to see you there – stylish, comfortable, and ready to enjoy an unforgettable few days together!
