WAGGGS strongly believes that anyone, whatever their age, position, or situation, can develop their leadership practice in everyday life.
The Girl Guide and Girl Scout Leadership Model is a model of practice. Leadership practice is the daily behaviours you choose to engage in and put your values into action and create positive change. Leadership practice regards your 'ways of being and thinking about the world' as the foundation to who you are as a leader.
This approach to leadership marks a change from our previous leadership work, and the Model's foundations of shared and worldly leadership are not always that common outside of WAGGGS either!
