The Brownie Guide Programme
The programme begins with pre-investiture challenges. The full programme comprises four Voyages, a wide range of Interest Badges and various International Challenges. The four Voyages comprise National Heritage, Road Sense/Where are you, Keep Healthy, Grown Strong, Little Helper, Be Helpful, Knots, Looking Around, Busy Hands, Here and Far Away.
The Junior Guide Programme
The programme begins with pre-investiture challenges. The full programme is based on the Four Signposts in the form of three Discovery Emblems – Health/Physical Development: Enjoying the out of doors, Eating the right thing, Dancing, Company Drill; Creative Ability: Literary Arts, Visual Arts, Performing Arts; Handicraft; Character & Intelligence: Duty to God, Love of God’s creations, Guides Own, Knowledge of the World; Service: Helpfulness, Sharing Talents, A Guide leaves a place better than she met it. It also comprises a wide range of Interest Badges aimed at the holistic development of girls aged 9 – 12 years; In addition, the traditional aspects of Guiding, Camping and Hiking are introduced as well as international challenges. It is at the Company’s Court of Honour that the Patrol Leaders, Captain and Lieutenant discuss, learn, plan and evaluate ongoing activities of the Unit.
The Senior Guide Programme
The programme begins with pre-investiture challenges. The full programme is based on the Four Signposts in the form of Five Challenge Section – each section has over 25 individual/group challenges for the guide to undertake. The sections comprise – Be Prepared Challenge, Health Challenge [this focuses on First Aid / Physical Wellbeing / Food & Nutrition / Health & Hygiene], Creative Arts Challenge [this focuses on Art & Craft / Art & Design / Performing Arts], Character & Intelligence Challenge [this focuses on Guiding Heritage / Citizenship & Me / My Environment & Me] and Service Challenge [this focuses on Home & Family / Community / Guide Family] and various International Challenges as well as the traditional aspects of Guiding, Camping and Hiking.
The Ranger Guide Programme
The programme begins with pre-investiture challenges. The full programme is geared to meet the needs of the girl in the changing world, it comprises Physical, Social, Spiritual, Political, Economic. The programme is design for joint participation in the President Award Programme of Trinidad and Tobago.
