15th Asia Pacific Regional Conference 2025: Circular 4 - 2nd Draft of the Regional Triennial Action Plan 2026-2028 | Call for Tellers and Communications Champions

We are pleased to share with you the second draft of the Regional Triennial Action Plan 2026-2028, which includes input from Member Organisations that participated during our consultation. We invite you to contribute to this second phase by sending your comments in writing to [email protected] with the subject: "Comments on the Regional Action Plan" by 09 May 2025.  
 

The AP Committee acknowledges the delay in sending the plan, which was originally due on 5 April 2025, due to unforeseen circumstances. In light of this delay, the deadline for submitting feedback on the plan has also been extended.

Call for Tellers

As part of the preparations for the Regional Conference, we are pleased to invite applications to be a Teller at the conference. The Tellers will count and verify the results of each vote and report the results to the Regional Conference Chair via the Procedural Team.  Please read the information pack for more details. Applications are open until 19 May 2025.

Call for Communications Champions

We are also opening our Call for Communications Champions for the Regional Conference. As a Communications Champion, some of your duties include helping in taking photos during sessions and launching Instagram takeovers. Interested? Call for Asia Pacific Appreciation Awards

The Asia Pacific Region Appreciation Award is the highest award given by the Asia Pacific Region, World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts to honour individuals and organisations who have given outstanding service and contribution to the development of Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting in the Region.

If you would like to nominate someone to receive the Asia Pacific Appreciation Awards, please read the information pack and send your nomination form to [email protected] by 30 May 2025.

Call for Medal of Service Nominations
The WAGGGS Medal of Service is the highest form of recognition that WAGGGS can bestow and is presented to individuals (volunteers or staff) who have distinguished themselves in their outstanding service to Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting at both national and regional/global levels.

If you would like to nominate someone to receive the WAGGGS Medal of Service, please read the information pack and send your nomination form to [email protected] by 30 April 2025.
