First launched in January 2024, STEM Girl is the newest Core Initiative within WAGGGS' Youth Exchange South to South (YESS) programme, and aims to help break down stereotypes that say STEM is not for girls!
As part of STEM Girl the exchange participants led a five-day 'YESS Girls Can Do STEM' campaign, delivered STEM projects for young girl guide and girl scout units in their host country, organised national STEM fairs, and took part in an International STEM E-Festival.
