Today was full of action as we split for gatherings; workshops and learnt about global opportunities.
Highlights from the day included:
- Hearing stories of action from the World Centres
- Sharing Regional updates and discussing plans for the future
- Taking time to explore the WAGGGS global strategy with an extra question time in plenary
- Quizzing each other about WAGGGS´ programmes in the Global Opportunities Connecting the Movement session
- The buzz of idea sharing in a range of workshops and networking sessions in the afternoon
We’ve recorded the speakers in any governance discussion again and for today this shows:
Make sure you arrive bright and early tomorrow as you will be electing your new World Boar members. Then you´ll hear from the three countries bidding to host the 39th World Conference. Next, we have an exciting panel discussion on becoming a Girl and Young Woman Led Movement before spending the whole afternoon discussion the Proposed Motions and Proposed Amendments.
- Proposed Motions and Proposed Amendments will be circulated at 08:00 and we have arranged to have the Printing Shop open 10:00-12:00 for any MOs that want to print a hard copy
- Head delegates remember to fully charge your voting devices overnight
- Please note that the dress code is a formal uniform with comfortable footwear
- Be ready to depart for the Cyprus Night from 18:00 at the Gardens of the Kykokos Metochion. Return buses to hotels have been arranged for you free of charge.
