FAPW-Funded APR Project Grant for 2026!

 

Since 1999, Friends of Asia Pacific WAGGGS (FAPW) has gained enormous support from countries all over the world. FAPW works to raise funds for the development of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting in the Asia Pacific Region. The funds enabled the Asia Pacific Region to deliver many more programmes and projects to its Member Organizations (MOs).

 

The Asia Pacific Region has called for applications from MOs for the FAWP-funded Project Grants. There were 3 types of Project Grant for 2026 open for application until 31 August 2025:

Summary

Funding Size

Project 3L: "Life-Long Learning"

(Project 3L)

  • Introduced to support projects that could contribute to the capacity building of girls and young women.
  • Can focus on: Innovation and social entrepreneurship; STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics); Nutrition; Leadership and Governance
  • To be completed within 12 months
Max. GBP 3,000 per project
AP Region Project Reach Out
  • Introduced to respond to the needs of the Asia Pacific Member Organisations (AP MOs) to share skills and knowledge that match the needs of other AP MOs.
  • Must involve an exchange programme between two or more MOs in the AP Region.
  • To be completed within 24 months
Max. GBP 4,000 per project

FAPW Juseon Byun Leadership Fund

(JBL Fund)

  • To build upon and strengthen the leadership capacity of young women who exhibited great potential.
  • Only for young women (under 30 years old) from AP Region
  • To be completed within 24 months.
  • Asia Pacific Regional Events: Max. GBP 15, 000 per triennium
  • Young Women Projects: max. GBP 10, 000 per triennium (project) / max. GBP 500 - 2,000 (individual)
