“The hills are alive with the sound of music” – Andrea’s love for music has shaped her journey. She believes in the power of voice—both in singing and in advocacy.
“Climb every mountain…” – She finds peace and purpose in nature. Hiking isn’t just a hobby—it’s a way to reflect, recharge, and stay grounded.
“I have confidence in sunshine” – Andrea believes in optimism and is always looking forward—hopeful about the future and the role young women and the Girl Guide and Girl Scout Movement will play in shaping it.

Stephani Erotocritou – Guiding Enthusiast & Empowerment Advocate
Stephani is happiest under the stars—with a compass in one hand and a s'more in the other. Camping isn’t just a hobby; it’s her happy place.
From organizing confidence workshops for teens to representing Cyprus on the global stage, she believes every girl deserves to feel seen, strong, and unstoppable.
Her secret superpower? Lighting up any activity with a smile—while turning Guiding moments into teamwork and lifelong friendships.
Stephani is a French and English teacher with degrees from Cyprus and France and a Master’s in teaching French as a Second Language.

Nefeli Eliade – Girl Empowerment Advocate and Physics Scholar
Things to know about Nefeli:
• She’s stood both at international WAGGGS conferences and in muddy tents—always with a purpose and a smile.
• From the Youth Council to Butterflies’ meetings, she knows that girl empowerment starts with showing up, at every stage.
• She believes leadership looks like listening, inspiring, and sometimes… just starting the campfire.
Nefeli is also currently pursuing an MSc in Biomedical Physics at the University of Pavia, eager to apply the skills acquired during her BSc in Physics from the University of Cyprus, to make a meaningful impact on society.

Christina Hadjiconstantinou – Lifelong Guide, Leadership Mentor
"Empowered women empower the world."
Meet Christina Hadjiconstantinou, a lifelong Girl Guide and leadership advocate. From local teams to international forums, she’s spent over two decades helping girls find their voice, lead with purpose, and create change that lasts.
• She’s been part of the Girl Guides movement since the age of 4—and never really took off the uniform.
• From Mexico to Ireland, she’s represented Cyprus on global stages empowering young women’s leadership.
• Her hidden talent? Turning everyday challenges into learning opportunities for the next generation.
Christina holds a master’s degree in “Educational Leadership and Administration” and works in Administration at Larnaca General Hospital.

Eirini Kappou – From Girl Guide to Global Change Agent
“Sometimes we have to do the work even though we don't yet see a glimmer on the horizon that it's actually going to be possible.” – Angela Davis
Optimism, patience, lots of work and a passion for positive change – reflected in this quote – are also a compass for Eirini.
A Girl Guide from Greece since the age of 5, then a Juliet Low Seminar participant in Ghana in 2016, where the path of her life changed, she is now a member of the WAGGGS global staff team working on various projects, specifically in the Europe Region.

Waad Mohamad – Global Advocacy Champion
Waad believes, "Change starts when one girl speaks—and even more when she’s heard."
She:
• has been in Girl Guiding for 14 years, growing from a curious girl to a confident voice for change.
• brought girl-led solutions to the global stage at The United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) and in key WAGGGS webinars.
• is implementing the Free Being Me programme in Egypt, empowering girls to build body confidence and challenge beauty stereotypes.
Her drive? Making sure girls everywhere feel seen, heard, and empowered to lead.
Waad is a Commercial Communication Officer at a leading Professional Events Management Company.

Katerina Papanastasiou – Global Advocacy Champion
Katerina found her voice through Girl Guiding—and now she’s using it to help others find theirs.
She is fluent in Greek, French and English and spoke at the United Nations’ CSW69 on body confidence and leadership through WAGGGS' Free Being Me program.
Her mission? Making sure no young person ever feels too small to speak up.
In addition to her work in education and STEM advocacy, Katerina is a strong advocate for internet safety. She recognizes the growing risks young people face online and is committed to equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to navigate the digital world securely and responsibly.

Erin Wicking – WAGGGS MYP Lead Volunteer
Erin is a community engagement specialist with an undergraduate degree in Communications and Australian Indigenous Studies and a Masters of International Community Development.
• She represented WAGGGS at both the UN General Assembly and the Commission on the Status of Women.
• Her best procrastination technique? She once published a children's picture story book on the Sustainable Development Goals to distract herself from her Master's thesis.
• Her Ladybird Guides know her as Sugar Glider!
