The programme of the Association of Georgian Girl Scouts “Dia” is built as a combination of global frameworks and locally designed experiences, adapting to the needs of both young members and adult leaders.

For youth, Dia implements key WAGGGS programmes such as Thinking Day, Voices Against Violence, Surf Smart, and Free Being Me. These are supported by outdoor activities and Scoutcraft, creating a balance between personal development, practical skills, and social awareness.

Alongside in-person programmes, Dia developed a Virtual Activities Lab during the pandemic, which remains an active space for digital learning, creativity, and experimentation.

Adult learning focuses on leadership development and training for working with children and adolescents. These programmes equip leaders with practical tools in non-formal education, facilitation, and group dynamics.

Looking forward, Dia is currently developing new programme directions within the GAL framework. The focus is on flexible, badge-based learning that encourages creativity across areas such as arts, STEM, communication, and civic engagement - allowing participants to explore, create, and lead their own learning processes.
