The Sandals Foundation runs an annual grant program supporting community projects across the Caribbean islands where its resorts operate, funding work in education, environment, community health, economic empowerment, and disaster resilience.
Geographies:
Jamaica; The Bahamas; Barbados; Grenada; Saint Lucia; Antigua and Barbuda; Curacao; Turks and Caicos Islands; Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Funding amount:
- Small Grants: Up to USD $20,000
- Medium Grants: USD $20,000 - $50,000
- Strategic Grants: USD $50,000 - $80,000
Focus areas:
- Education – school infrastructure, teacher training, digital literacy, scholarships
- Environment – biodiversity protection, marine conservation, environmental education, coral restoration
- Community Development & Health – youth engagement, sports, culture, mental & physical health
- Economic Empowerment – skills training (artisans, farmers, fisherfolk), social enterprise
- Disaster Preparedness & Relief – crisis response and resilience-building

The Sandals Foundation utilizes a two-stage application process to ensure efficiency and fairness in the review of submissions for projects to begin in 2027:
