• The Katalpa Fund aims to contribute to the social projects dedicated to improving children's and youth's education in achieving their dreams, empowering women in social fields, protecting the natural environment, and preserving the unique culture and traditional lifestyle of nomadic herders in Mongolia.

     

  • Projects organized and operated by non-profit organisations in Mongolia, focusing on preserving nomadic cultural elements and providing education and care for orphaned/or underprivileged children and young students are the priority.

     

  • Applications will be accepted from NGOs who actively work in the countryside (provinces) and the capital city Ulaanbaatar.

     

  • Two annual grant cycles:

    • First Cycle: Applications open January 15 - February 28. Grants awarded in early April.

    • Second Cycle: Applications open July 15 - August 31. Grants awarded in early October.
