📄 Bid Proposal:
The organization of the WAGGGS 39th World Conference comes within the framework of Les Scouts Tunisiens goals to promote cooperation and exchange among Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world, and to encourage equality and the comprehensive development of girls.
The conference is an opportunity to strengthen the status of Les Scouts Tunisiens in the international community, highlight the achievements and activities of Tunisian and Arab Girl Guides and Leaders and empower them. It also expands the horizons of cooperation and partnerships with other organizations and entities in the world, especially as we want it as an opportunity for converging the various regions of WAGGGS.
We also want it to be an occasion to get to know the Tunisian Republic. Its geographical location is very distinctive, located in the heart of the Mediterranean, and occupies an important strategic location in North Africa. It is characterized by a moderate and attractive climate, and spectacular coasts. Tunisia is also distinguished by its rich cultural and historical heritage, with many archaeological and historical sites. Cultural diversity is one of its advantages as it includes a diverse society. This helps to enrich the experience of the World Conference participants and foster mutual understanding and cooperation between nations.
