The Stakeholders’ Annual Newsletter 2021 highlights the YESS Girls’ Movement’s achievement during that year. 13 WAGGGS MOs participated in the program. These included Bangladesh, Burundi, Fanilo (Madagascar), Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Mpanazava (Madagascar), Nepal, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe. Following the COVID-19 pandemic, there was no travel involved but the program maintained it’s core identity as an international partnership. Together, we focused on the following five result areas:-

  • Increased and diversified membership
  • Young women speaking out and taking action
  • Girl led community response to COVID-19
  • Improved performance of Girl Guide/Girl Scout associations in Membership retention, resource mobilisation, Project management and Financial management
  • More visibility of Girl Guiding/Girl Scouting Movement as a key national and global player and influencer on issues affecting girls and young women
