Why we chose the month of June:
June is known as the green season in Cambodia where all the rice field, trees and crops come back to life. The temperatures are also a bit cooler and humid with the average temperature of 29C.
We picked the month of June is also due to the fact that it is off season for traveling, thus we can save a lot on both airfare and accommodations where there is an off-peak specials offer at some of the upscale hotels.
More over off-season means fewer tourists at the most popular sites- especially the Angkor temple, which mean we can get an unforgettable experience of serene and tranquil atmosphere of the spectacular ancient city.

Descendant from the Khmer Empire, Cambodia – the Kingdom of Wonder - is situated in mainland Southeast Asia, neighboured by Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and the Gulf of Thailand. Our Capital City is Phnom Penh, which was founded in 1434 and earned the nickname of “Pearl of Asia” due to its beautiful culture, vibrant city life and historical architecture.
Siem Reap province is located in northwest Cambodia. It is the major tourist hub in Cambodia, as it is the closest city to the world famous temples of Angkor. The provincial capital is located on the shores of the Tonle Sap Lake, the greatest sweet water reserve in whole Southeast Asia. Siem Reap now serves as a small gateway town to the world heritage site of Angkor Wat.
n recent years, the city has regularly ranked in the top ten for "Best Destination" lists produced by entities such as TripAdvisor, Wanderlust Magazine, and Travel Leisure. The proximity of the Angkorian ruins turned Siem Reap into a boomtown in less than half a decade. Huge five stars hotels have sprung up everywhere and budget hotels have mushroomed. Property values have soared to European levels and tourism has become a vast, lucrative industry.
The temple of Angkor Wat is the central feature of the Angkor UNESCO World Heritage Site containing the magnificent remains of the Khmer civilization. Angkor Thom is an inner royal city built by the Empire's famed 'Warrior King' at the end of the 12th century and is renowned for its temples.
Therefore, we suggest Siem Reap City, the second-largest city of Cambodia as place to host the World Conference 2026. This city has a long and proud history, culture and traditions that are still alive today.
From its magnificent temples to its lively markets, this remarkable city has something for everyone. Siem Reap is accessible, not to mention the newly build International airport that will be officially open to public in October 2023.
