✈️ Travel and Visa Information:
1. Passport:
You must present both your actual, signed passport and a copy of the page that contains your personal information. Your passport must: have at least six months of validity remaining; contain at least one blank visa page (amendment and endorsement pages cannot be used to satisfy this requirement), and have no visa markings. Not be torn, pulverized, separated, or altered in any other way.
2. Photographs:
You must submit two color photographs in passport format that satisfy the following requirements:
- Be taken within the last three months and printed on photo paper of the highest quality.
- Be photographed against a pristine background. two inches by two inches in size.
- Display a full-frontal view of your head with a neutral (non-smiling) expression and your visage centered in the middle. having dimensions of two inches by two inches
- Except for religious reasons, neither eyeglasses nor headgear are permitted.
- Your photos and any visible adhesive tape or fasteners should not be attached to your application.
3. Letter of Introduction for a Conference:
You must submit a cover letter from the Ghana-based organization for the conference. All correspondence must be on company letterhead with an address in Ghana.
4. Visa Application Form
You must submit one filled out and signed application form.
5. An Invitation Letter:
You must procure an invitation letter. It is the responsibility of the visiting
organization to provide the invitation. A duplicate is allowed. This letter must:
- Be written on company letterhead, include the dates and duration of your stay; include your name exactly as it appears in your passport, include the complete local address and telephone number of the organization or individual to be visited, and bear your signature.
- Request the same visa validity as specified in the letter introducing the conference.
- Indicate the number of visa entries requested.
- Be signed
6. Visa applicants with a single entry:
Ghanaian consulates issue single-entry visas that are valid for 90 days from the date of issuance. It is advised that travelers apply for a single-entry visa no more than 30 days prior to departure. This will ensure that your visa remains valid for as long as possible.
7. Hotel Reservation Confirmation:
A formal confirmation letter from the lodging establishment is necessary. The letter must: be on official hotel letterhead, display the complete hotel address, include the dates of your stay; and include your name exactly as it appears on your passport. If traveling with companions, their names must also appear on the confirmation of the hotel reservation and be signed by a member of the hotel's staff.
8. Vaccination Certificate:
You must provide documentation of your Yellow Fever and COVID-19 vaccinations.
