About this self-paced learning 

This 3-part self-paced learning introduces you to the Girl-Led Action on Climate Change (GLACC) programme variations (including country and region specific adaptations and the Youth-Led Action on Climate Change (YLACC) co-educational adaptation. The learning explores how climate change disproportionately affects girls and women, and how equity can be promoted through the GLACC approach.

This self-paced learning will:

  • equip you with the tools to support girls as climate leaders.
  • give you a clear understanding of climate change, its impacts on communities, and creative ways to respond.
  • provide you the chance to develop facilitation and leadership skills to create safe, girl-led spaces that build climate knowledge, confidence, and resilience.
  • highlight how to adapt the programme to your local context, ensuring it reflects your community’s needs, values, and realities.
