The Regional Committee is thrilled to invite you to save the date for the 17th Western Hemisphere Regional Conference.
Regional Conferences are an exciting learning and networking opportunity for Member Organisations to share their achievements, exchange ideas and shape the future of the Region. We look forward to welcoming a newly elected Regional Committee and collaborating to explore tools and resources that will help achieve our strategic goals and fulfil our global vision for 2032.
Save the date
Dates: Thursday 3rd – Sunday 6th July 2025
Conference Theme: The theme for the 2025 Regional Conferences is Stronger Together. By uniting as a Global Movement, we aim to create a more equal world where all girls can thrive by feeling confident to lead within their communities and the world.
Rules of Procedure: The Rules of Procedure, as approved by Member Organisations at the 38th World Conference, that will be used at the 17th Western Hemisphere Regional Conference can be found here.
Registrations: Registrations will open in February 2025. All the information on how to register for the Regional Conference, including registration fees will be shared in Circular 3.
Call for Nominations: Regional Committee members, 2025-2028 - Deadline extended
Thank you to the Member Organisations who have already submitted a nomination for the Western Hemisphere Regional Committee 2025-2028.
Due to the recent holiday period, we understand that some Member Organisations in the Region may require additional time to complete their internal processes and submit nominations. To facilitate this and to ensure we have the best possible slate of candidates for the Region, the deadline for submitting nominations has been extended to 23:59 (UTC) on Thursday, 30 January 2025.
This region is rich in talent and diversity, and we encourage you to review the attached materials and consider submitting a nomination if you have an outstanding volunteer who possesses the vision, skills, and dedication to serve our Movement at the regional governance level.
To submit a nomination, please send your completed nomination form to [email protected] before the new deadline.
Reminders
The deadline for applications to volunteer for the upcoming Regional Conference is Sunday 19 January, 2025. More information is available on Campfire.
