The Samsung Solve for Tomorrow Program invites applications to empower young innovators to transform bold ideas into impactful solutions that address real-world challenges through technology.
The programme focuses on AI Living for India, Health and Education, Sport & Tech, and Environmental Sustainability. Participants are encouraged to leverage AI and technology to improve public safety, accessibility, disaster response, healthcare, education, sports innovation, climate action, resource efficiency, waste reduction, and environmental conservation while promoting inclusive development across communities in India.
Selected participants will receive extensive support through masterclasses in design thinking, prototyping, and business planning conducted by Samsung and IIT Delhi experts. They will also gain hands-on prototyping experience at IIT Delhi’s advanced laboratories, mentorship from industry leaders, opportunities to visit Samsung’s R&D centres and regional headquarters, and investor connect sessions to help transform ideas into market-ready solutions.
The programme offers significant funding support and rewards at different stages of the competition. The Top 40 teams will receive INR 8 lakh for prototype development along with Samsung laptops for each team member. The Top 20 teams will receive INR 20 lakh for prototype enhancement and the latest Galaxy Z Flip devices for each team member. A Community Choice Award worth INR 2 lakh and a Digital Impact Award worth INR 50,000 will also be presented. Additionally, four theme-based winning teams will receive an incubation grant of INR 2 crore.
The competition is open to Indian residents aged between 14 and 22 years as of 30 June 2026. Applicants may participate individually or in teams of up to three members. Entries must present an original concept in science and technology or a completely new product with social impact. Proposals that only introduce new business models without innovation will not be considered. Applicants must also ensure that they have not previously received funding or awards exceeding INR 5 lakh for the same proposal from any agency or competition.
