The Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi is opening its Small Scale Projects call for 2027, funding locally run development projects in Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Maldives.
It has identified following priority areas and SDGs for 2027:
- Good democratic governance (SDG 16 - Peace, justice and strong institutions)
- Sustainable management of natural resources (SDGs 6 and 13 - Drinking water and sanitation and Climate action)
- Agriculture and rural development (SDG 2 - Zero hunger, SDG 15 – Life on land, Sustainable forestry)
Geographies: Bangladesh, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Nepal.
Funding amount: CZK 250,000 to CZK 500,000 (roughly USD $11,000 to USD $22,000).
Deadline: The application must be delivered both in hard (by post) and soft copy (by email) to the Embassy of the Czech Republic in New Delhi by October 31, 2026.
