Dear FBM/ABC MOs,
Time flies! We're now in the middle of 2025!
We hope you all are doing well and are taking care of your health and well-being especially those who are facing difficult circumstances.
We are very pleased to share that we have gone over and beyond again in 2024 and reached over 1 million young people through FBM and ABC (total direct and indirect lives reach). All the credit goes to you, who continue to deliver this life-changing programme to our girls and young people globally.
Here are some amazing videos last year by Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association,
and the Girl Guides of Singapore:

Our FBM Regional Facilitators Taking the Spotlight in Colombia
Last month, two of our Western Hemisphere Regional Facilitators travelled to Colombia to support the FBM Facilitators' training for teachers and government officials. It was a very successful event and partnership between the local government and the Asociacion de Guias Scouts de Colombia. The team was invited to speak at a TV show where they highlighted the programme and the need for young people, especially girls, to develop body confidence to be able to lead and thrive. International Being You Day Celebration in Ivory Coast
On the occasion of International Being You Day on 22 June, the Catholic Guides of Ivory Coast hosted the international forum on "Self-Esteem in the Digital Age". It was a forum that integrates Free Being Me and Surf Smart Programmes and highlights the link between beauty standards and internet safety. It was attended by industry experts, government representatives, media personalities and advocates. Young leaders and representatives from Senegal and Togo also participated in the event.
The Most Significant Change (MSC) Technique Training: Capturing Change, One Story at a Time
A pilot training on the Most Significant Change Technique - a qualitative tool that WAGGGS Global Programmes use to measure the impact of the programmes to various domains of change (Individual, organisation, society) was piloted in Ivory Coast, Ghana, and Nigeria. The objective of the training is to capacitate member organisations in collecting stories of change and filtering them to identify the most significant ones in relation to specific programme goals. This training will soon be replication to other MOs and Regional Facilitators Pool.

We hope you find these updates inspiring! We look forward to featuring your activities in the next newsletter.
Report/Updates for 2nd Quarter of 2025 (MOs with FBM Grant)
As you all know, we collect data and reports on a quarterly basis to ensure that programme implementation is going smoothly and if challenges arise, we can together address them and find solutions. For MOs that are still implementing their activities from the 2024 grant, please share you quarterly reports through this link: https://campfire.wagggs.org/form/wagggs-gpt-mel-qpr
Kindly note that this is the same reporting link we use every quarter for FBM and for other programmes. We encourage you to submit your report by 7 July.
For MOs that recently received their funding for 2025, you are not expected to submit any report at this time. The next reporting deadline covering the months of July to September will be on 7 October 2025.
MOs That Implement FBM/ABC Without Funding
We highly commend MOs that continue to implement the programme beyond the funding agreement or even without funding, as part of their regular girl programme offer. We would like to capture your work as well and learn how you have sustained the programme and use it to expand your reach. Please feel free to share your updates here: https://campfire.wagggs.org/form/wagggs-global-programmes-mos-non
Finally, if you have questions or need support on programme implementation, feel free to reach out to Rio and Abigail.
Thank you very much! We look forward to receiving your amazing activity reports.
