Programme Offer

Campfire Team • 15 June 2026

The Pakistan Girl Guides Association (PGGA) offers a dynamic educational program for girls and young women, enabling them to realize their fullest potential as responsible citizens. Through Guiding, members learn to fulfil their duties within the home, the community, and the nation.

PGGA’s structure is rooted in democratic principles, ensuring that every young member has the opportunity to learn, lead, and take responsibility.

The program places strong emphasis on community development projects, providing girls with practical opportunities to explore health, nutrition, environmental care, and economic uplift through engaging activities.

Membership in PGGA is open to all girls and young women from diverse backgrounds, regardless of caste, creed, or religion. Every Girl Guide accepts the Promise and the Law, which are founded on spiritual values, personal growth, and a commitment to serving others. The program is delivered through interactive, non-formal methods that inspire confidence, leadership, and lifelong learning.

PGGA believes that empowering and educating girls is the best way to build a better world. We strive to nurture confident global citizens equipped with the skills, values, and attitudes to:

  • make their own choices
  • become self-reliant
  • meet the challenges of life
  • take the lead and act as agents of change
  • serve as positive role models for their peers
  • advocate for a tolerant and peaceful society

The Guiding experience has a threefold impact:

  • Girls learn about themselves, strengthen their spiritual values, and discover their skills and abilities.
  • They become more connected to their communities, showing care for people and the environment around them.
  • They take action to make the world a better place.

As a result, girls gain leadership skills, while society becomes healthier, the economy stronger, and the country more stable, prosperous, and secure.

PGGA also actively promotes the training and development of adult members to fulfil their roles and achieve the Association’s Mission. These programs equip adults with the knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes needed to deliver high-quality Guiding. Training is relevant, needs-based, and aligned with WAGGGS’ principles, reflecting current trends in learning. By adopting a learner-centered approach, PGGA ensures that Trainers, Guiders, Leaders, Commissioners, and other adult members are empowered to guide the next generation with excellence.
