The WAGGGS Membership Policy was reviewed and updated in January 2026.

In May 2026, the World Board approved a further update to clarify the measures that need to be in place where territories that fall within the geographic, constitutional, or operational remit of an existing Member Organisation wish to be considered for independent membership of WAGGGS.

This revised policy reflects our ongoing commitment to support Member Organisations in their journey with WAGGGS.

We encourage all members to read the updated version and familiarise themselves with the key changes (section 3.1 Definition of a Member Organisation)
