Surf Smart Programme – Phase-End Report (2022–2024) is here!

We’re thrilled to present the Surf Smart 2.0 Phase-End Report(2022-2024), capturing an inspiring journey of digital empowerment, innovation, and youth-led advocacy across the globe.

This phase has empowered thousands of young people worldwide with critical digital literacy and online safety skills. Through the Surf Smart Member Organisation (MO) Grants, more than 250,000 young people completed the curriculum, supported by 12,717 trained leaders. With innovative training, impactful advocacy projects, and strong engagement with Member Organisations (MOs), the programme significantly contributed to WAGGGS' mission of equipping children and young people to navigate the digital world safely and confidently.

This phase marked a transition towards a more digitally inclusive and advocacy-driven approach, supported by strategic partnerships and new digital tools that enhanced impact and accessibility. Surf Smart also contributed to SDG 5 (Gender Equality) by empowering children and young people, especially girls and young women, online, strengthening our efforts toward responsible digital citizenship.
