The theme for the 2024 Regional Conferences is “Stronger Together”
During the 2025 Arab Regional Conference, member associations will share their experiences in Guiding and Girls’ Empowerment, discuss motions prepared for voting, and elect new members of the Arab Regional Committee for the period 2025-2028.

Call for Nominations: Regional Committee Members, 2025-2028
We are now inviting Member Organizations to nominate women leaders for the 2025-2028 Arab Regional Committee.
You will find in the nominations file more information about the role and responsibilities of Regional Committee members and the skills, experience and personal qualities required.
The deadline for nominations is: Thursday, January 30, 2025 (23.59 UTC)
We greatly appreciate your active partnership and careful judgment in identifying qualified women leaders to join the WAGGGS global team at the regional level.
If you have an outstanding volunteer with the vision, skills and dedication to serve our Movement at the regional level, please review the attached materials and consider submitting a nomination.
In light of Proposal 3 passed at the 37th World Conference in July 2021 that, as far as possible, each newly elected Regional Committee should include at least two members under the age of 30, please ensure that young women under the age of 30 are also considered when reviewing potential candidates.

To ensure the smooth running of the 24th Arab Regional Conference, we invite you to read the Rules of Procedure of the World Assembly adopted at the 38th World Conference in July 2023.
