It is with great pleasure that we present the results of the WAGGGS annual census. It has been a phenomenal year – our Movement has grown significantly reaching 10.8 million members in 153 countries. This growth represents a 21.5% increase from 2022 and the largest membership in our history.
Within this overarching number, the census tells a story of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting in different parts of the world. We encourage everyone to read the report in detail – it’s fascinating! Not only does it provide detailed insight into regional trends but also highlights the incredible growth in several Member Organisations.
This is a testament to the continuing relevance and attractiveness of the Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting Movement to girls and young women across the world.
