- providing basic healthcare, clean water and sanitation, freedom from hunger and fear, transport and energy equity.
- Education
- equipping women and girls with qualifications, skills and confidence to realise their potential through enrolment and retention in formal education, as well as non-formal education focusing on livelihood and employment competencies.
- Sustainable livelihoods
- supporting female entrepreneurs and challenge gender norms through non-traditional livelihood options.
Eligibility
- Partners are part of the community in which they operate, with registered not-for-profit charitable status in the countries in which they work.
- Partners are diverse in approach but singularly focused on developing women and girls socially, culturally and economically.
- Partners tackle the root causes of gender inequity with a clear theory of change. They measure the metrics that matter and review their work regularly.
- Partners are growth-oriented with programming and organisational fundamentals already in place. Operating budgets typically range from US$250,000 to US$2 million.
