We are running fifteen workshops during the morning, across five different spaces, all connected to the four themes of our Global Village:

- Unity and Influence 🔥
Sessions are 40 minutes long. Each workshop will be either a single (40 mins) or double session (90 mins).

Some practical tips:
- Choose workshops that are taking place in your preferred WAGGGS language, as there will not be interpretation in most sessions.
- Workshops in Ballroom 1&2 and Ballroom 3 can fit lots of people, but workshops in Romdul, Krovan and Nakry have more limited spaces available. Sign up early if you want to attend!
- Sign up sheets will be available at the Global Village in the Foyer

A panel discussion with leaders of Big Six organisations (AR, EN, FR, SP) Representatives from the Big Six Youth Organisations 🏠 Ballroom 1&2 ⏱️ 11.15am, 90 mins Volunteering is being redefined. In the International Year of Volunteers, leaders from WAGGGS, IFRC, WOSM and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award discuss what is changing, what it means for our movements, and how we evolve without losing what makes us who we are. |

When Girls Lead: International Youth Leadership and Participation (EN, FR) WAGGGS team, Girl Scouts of the Philippines, Ghana Girl Guides Association, Irish Girl Guides, 🏠 Ballroom 3 ⏱️ 11.15am, 90 mins When Girls Lead they discover their fullest potential and go on to empower others to do the same! Attracting and keeping 11+ girls in Guides (EN) Girlguiding UK 🏠 Nakry ⏱️ 9.00am, 40 mins Join Girlguiding UK to learn about their research into the impact of Guiding on girls, and their learnings on how they could evolve what they offer to girls aged 11+, to make it attractive and relevant for girls who have left Guiding or never joined. Research also shows that girls in Guiding in the UK are 23% more confident than the average girl in the UK. Girlguiding UK will share their findings so far from consultation and research, and talk about their plans for this work. |

The Future of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting: exploring the relevance of non-formal learning in a digital and AI age (EN) WAGGGS team, the International Award, The Guides and Scouts of Finland 🏠 Nakry ⏱️ 9.50am, 40 mins This interactive round table will explore how AI is impacting girls and young women, and look at the role of non-formal learning in developing the human skills (leadership, critical thinking, creativity etc) that help young people thrive in this rapidly changing world. Joined by Martin Houghton Brown from the Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, and including information from WAGGGS's consultation on AI, we will look at how as a Movement we can evolve and embrace the opportunities these technologies offer to meet the needs of our members. Member Organisations are invited to share how they are responding to the opportunities and challenges of the digital and AI age. |

Join Girl Guides of Canada to learn how to reimagine volunteer engagement to meet members where they are, remove barriers to participation and build communities that inspire people to stay. Let’s explore practical paths to sustainability, focusing on recruitment, retention and membership development. We will use the WAGGGS Capacity Assessment Tool as a guideline for an achievable plan.
