The 2027 Climate Cohort is a leadership development and experiential learning initiative for rising climate leaders working to advance climate initiatives, organizations, or community based work, run by Libra Philanthropies.
This cohort helps participants grow as leaders, expand their networks, and deepen their understanding of the systems, institutions, and resources shaping climate action – equipping them to step more confidently into the spaces where such decisions are made.
They welcome applications from climate leaders who:
- Are 20 – 35 years old.
- Are already leading or playing a significant role in a climate focused initiative or organization: Initiatives/organizations should have at least 1 year of operating history, be nonpartisan, and preferably an annual budget under $500,000 USD.
- Are addressing climate change in ways grounded in the needs and experience of the communities they serve.
- Would benefit from capacity-building support and are willing to collaborate, share learning, and contribute to collective impact.

Hybrid / in-person convenings + online sessions (all travel and program-related costs will be fully covered)
