What weather can I expect during the event?

  • Temperature -October is a great month to visit Limassol as it is right in the middle of the autumn season. The month has an average temperature  of 21°C, (70°F), with average high temperatures of 25°C and average low temperatures of 17°C. It is usually hotter during the day and colder at night as the land is cooled by the sea breeze.
  • Rainfall - October receives an average of 27mm of precipitation across an average of 4 rainfall days.
  • Sunshine - The sun shines about 8 hours per day.

Is the tap water safe to drink in Cyprus?

  • Tap water is safe to drink.  There is no need to purchase bottled water unless you prefer the taste. Please bring your own reusable water bottle

What Should I Do If I Need to Apply for a Visa to Cyprus?

  • If you are from a visa-required country, you must submit a Cyprus visa application in person at a Cypriot diplomatic mission (Consulate, Embassy or High Commission) in your country or nearest to you. You will have to collect the required documents and present them at the embassy or consulate.
  • Cyprus visa applications via mail will only be accepted if you live a considerable length away from the diplomatic mission (over 300 km/200 miles). If you apply by mail, you must also include a self-addressed special delivery envelope for the embassy/consulate staff to return your documents with.

Is tipping widely expected in Cyprus?

  • Generally, tipping isn’t required in Cyprus, but because it’s such a popular tourist destination, many people choose to tip anyway.

  • Bus fares and tickets: Fares are generally low, making buses an affordable transportation option. You can purchase single tickets from the driver or opt for daily, weekly, or monthly passes, which offer unlimited travel within specific zones.
