OB-PS Members are women and men from all walks of life. While many have been involved in Guiding or Scouting, there are many who have not. They all believe that WAGGGS and its work can change lives and influence the future for whole communities. They know that their support is critically important to helping WAGGGS achieve its Vision of an equal world where all girls can thrive.

Different names have been used to describe those who have joined OB-PS. Starting in 1985, they were called Members of the Society. In 2012, the name was changed to Supporter to better describe the role they play in support of WAGGGS and reflecting the impact of their donations. In 2021, OB-PS returned to the term Member to align with the new category of Associate Member. No matter the name, these individuals are highly valued contributors – helping WAGGGS deliver its Mission and girls and young women to pursue their dreams.
