Held every three years, the World Conferences are the key part of policy making for WAGGGS. However there's much more to it than that! This a global opportunity for Member Organisations to meet in one place, strengthen bonds, build networks and share cultures.

Interpretation
WAGGGS World Conferences are fully interpreted in the four WAGGGS Languages; Arabic, French, Spanish and English. Any session you are part of, expect to have our exceptional team interpreting the speakers for you. This makes for inclusive and connected discussions.
Roll Call
Before each World Conference day starts, the Roll Call is done, each Member Organisation registers that they are there and ready for action!
International Night
A vital part of World Conference is Member Organisations having an opportunity to share their culture and bring a little piece of their country with them. You can expect to taste delish food from all over the world and be entertained by arts from all our regions.
Discussing Motions and shaping the Movement
There are many important parts to the World Conference, conversations between delegates that take place throughout our days together, these are the crucial parts that help shape the future of the Movement.
World Board Elections
The new board members are elected and we say goodbye to those who have served the Movement over the last years.
Host Country Night (Cyprus 2023)
The host of the world conference has the opportunity to show all guests a piece of their culture in an evening of celebration and sharing!
The Next World Conference Host is chosen
Member Organisations vote on who should hold the next World Conference, in 2023 Cambodia successfully won the bid! And that's where we will all meet again this June!
