In 2024, thanks to your generous support, WAGGGS have been able to begin developing the new Growing and Learning framework—an exciting initiative that will guide all WAGGGS activities moving forward.
This approach ensures that Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting continues to offer a high-quality, inspiring experience for young people around the world, in line with WAGGGS Global Strategy. Your contributions are truly helping to shape the future of our programmes!
The global training event in France in October 2024, brought together Member Organisations to explore and co-create the framework in action.
Into 2025 this initiative continues with building the Growing and Learning Hub on Campfire—WAGGGS’ online platform and digital home. The first part of the Growing and Learning Toolkit was published for Member Organisations in January 2025, marking a key milestone on this journey, that wouldn’t have been possible without your support.
Looking ahead WAGGGS is using your gifts to continue work on the Growing and Learning Toolkit:
- Explore the growth outcomes in more depth at different stages and roles within Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting.
- Explain how Member Organisations can apply the framework in their work both with youth members and adult members.
