Noem Chhunny is a mindfulness facilitator, leadership trainer, and a leading voice in Cambodia’s growing human development movement. As Co-Founder of VIPASSA, he focuses on translating Buddhist wisdom and modern science into practical tools that help leaders and professionals perform with clarity, resilience, and purpose.

He is the co-author of the national bestselling book “Meditation for the Energy of Life,” which has inspired thousands of readers to cultivate awareness, inner stability, and a more meaningful life.

With over a decade of experience, he has worked with organizations and communities across Cambodia, delivering programs on emotional intelligence, mindful leadership, and sustainable performance. He has led Vipassana and mindfulness retreats at the International Meditation Center in Chiang Mai for many years, and has travelled across South Asia to share the Buddha’s teachings on human development in a practical and accessible way.

In 2019, he became the first Cambodian to complete a 300km solo cross-country run to support children’s healthcare — a journey he describes as a “moving meditation,” reflecting his belief that true strength begins with mastering the mind.

He is currently Lead Trainer at Impact Hub Phnom Penh and continues to support leaders and organizations in building awareness, discipline, and compassion in both work and life.
