Overview: The prevention of sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) by WAGGGS Global Team, Member Organisations, and partners is a fundamental commitment to uphold the rights of children, young people and vulnerable adults, ensuring their safety and well-being. SEA represents a grave violation of our duty to protect and uphold our values as a Movement. This standard aims to mitigate the risk of SEA by all entities involved in providing programmes, activities, and services. It ensures that allegations of SEA are promptly reported and addressed, following a victim-centered approach that prioritises support and assistance for survivors.
