Find below important information about the World Conference and the WAGGGS Strategy 2024-2029.
📢 Registrations Open
We are delighted to share with you that registrations for the 38th World Conference are open! Please follow the link here to register.
- Registration will be available in Arabic, English, French and Spanish. You will be able to register more than one attendee at the same time, but you will be required to provide all of their information at that time.
- Member Organisations will be able to register 1 Head Delegate, 1 Delegate and a maximum of 8 Observers. Please register your delegation before 1 May 2023.
- Member Organisations should make every effort possible to have at least one third of their delegation be young women (aged 18-30).
- When registering your delegation, you will need to use a unique email address for each of the attendees you register. This is so all attendees are kept informed with 38th World Conference updates.

💡 Please note: if you require a visa letter, you will need to provide your details when registering before 3 April 2023.
🎯 WAGGGS Strategy 2024-2029
We are pleased to share with you the first draft of the WAGGGS Strategy 2024-2029. This six-year strategy outlines how the WAGGGS Global Team will contribute to Compass 2032 through the delivery of three key Outcomes.

Member Organisations can provide feedback on this first draft through virtual Member Organisation/Component Association consultation workshops scheduled for the 28th and 29th January 2023. These workshops will provide an opportunity to ask questions about the draft, provide your feedback and share your thoughts on WAGGGS’ current offer.
The consultation workshops will be held as follows on Zoom (language specific):
- Workshop 1 (English speaking) @ 8.00 UTC on Saturday 28 January 2023
- Workshop 2 (Arabic speaking) @ 14.00 UTC on Saturday 28 January 2023
- Workshop 3 (Spanish speaking) @ 18.00 UTC on Saturday 28 January 2023
- Workshop 4 (French speaking) @ 10.00 UTC on Sunday 29 January 2023
- Workshop 5 (English speaking) @ 16.00 UTC on Sunday 29 January 2023
👉 In order to attend a consultation workshop, you must be registered. Kindly register here https://forms.office.com/e/9ucKrbhne0 by 24th January 2023 at the latest.
Participation is limited to 4 people per Member Organisation/Component Association. This should include:
- Key leadership of Member Organisation/Component Association (e.g. National Board) – 2 persons
- Young women between 18-30 years old – 2 persons
Following the consultations, we will review all the feedback provided across the Movement to create a second draft which will be shared in March for further written feedback.

- 31 January 2023: deadline for expression of interest form to host the 39th World Conference
- 28 February 2023 by 23.59pm UTC: deadline to apply for IST
- 28 February 2023: submit your programme and agenda ideas
- 28 February 2023: Deadline for grants
- 31 March 2023 by 23.59pm UTC: deadline for Olave Award nominations
- 31 March 2023: deadline for non-Constitutional Proposed Motions
- 3 April 2023: Deadline for visa support letters
- 1 May 2023: Registration deadline
