Get Ready for Governance Programme Powered by the Olave Baden-Powell Society (OB-PS)

We are excited to get started on our journey together towards World Conference! Very soon we will announce some webinar opportunities for young people to learn more about governance in WAGGGS, how it applies to World Conference and to connect with each other.

On 25 July, we are also excited to have young people attending the World Conference come together in person in Larnaca to connect, network, and prepare for the week ahead!

As this day has an event capacity of 150 participants, we will prioritise equal representation of Member Organisations. The number of representatives per Member Organisation will be confirmed after the registration deadline of 1 May 2023. If you are under 30 before the first day of World Conference and would like to attend, please make sure you have expressed your interest as part of the registration process.

Thanks to the generous support of OB-PS, we can fund 100 places for young women free of charge (including food, accommodation, and event costs) at the 25 July event. Member Organisations will be contacted after 1 May 2023 to confirm participants, funded places and any costs involved.

Please note: This event will take place in Larnaca rather than Nicosia where the World Conference will be held. Transport will be arranged to take participants from Larnaca to Nicosia on the morning of 26 July 2023.
